Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Senior Developer Success Engineer (West) to serve as the frontline technical expert for developers deploying Temporal in cloud-native environments. You will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, optimize performance, and build automation to scale Temporal at large.

You will work with Go, Python, and Java, enhance observability with Grafana/Prometheus, and help design infrastructure best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a developer or SRE-focused engineer.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with container orchestration, networking, and observability.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Java, or TypeScript and debugging complex infra.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the frontline technical expert for developers deploying Temporal in cloud-native environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize cloud performance.
• Develop automation solutions (Terraform, IaC) to improve reliability and scalability.
• Build and improve observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus) and networking (load balancing, DNS).
• Collaborate with remote teams and communicate clearly with developers and product teams.
