Job summary

Boson AI, based in Santa Clara with a hybrid schedule, is hiring a Developer Relations Manager to own the developer journey from onboarding to production voice agents. You will write, demo, triage issues, and collaborate with research and engineering to improve docs and SDKs.

You will start as a senior individual contributor with room to grow a team as the program scales, and you will travel to conferences and events as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in developer relations, developer advocacy, solutions engineering, or software engineering with a public track record of technical content or talks.
• Strong Python, plus working comfort with JavaScript or TypeScript, REST and WebSocket APIs, and async and streaming code.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping applications on AI APIs or models (LLM, speech, or vision).
• Clear, engaging technical writing and speaking, with shareable examples.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup and prioritize across content, community, and product feedback.
• Ability to use agentic AI efficiently in your work to deliver high impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer journey from onboarding to shipping a production voice agent.
• Build reference apps and tutorials showcasing Higgs capabilities and streaming pipelines.
• Own ecosystem integrations and maintain documentation and announcements for partners.
• Be the technical voice in public: blogs, demos, livestreams, talks, and workshops.
• Engage with developers on GitHub, Hugging Face, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn; triage issues and build community.
• Drive tradeoffs discussions like latency, cost, and open weights vs hosted API, with product feedback.
