L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty in Clark, NJ, is seeking an Operations Senior Developer for Promotional Development to bridge Marketing and Operations and drive promotional programs as a project manager.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, assess viability, manage timelines, and present reviews to leadership. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years in project management, ideally in cosmetics, are required with onsite work at NY/NJ sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Packaging Engineering or related engineering/technical discipline is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience launching global products with cross-functional teams (Operations, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Packaging, Brand Marketing, Sustainability).
• Cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; MS Project experience expected.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assess promotional viability via cost, timeline, and sustainability studies.
• Foster relationships and maintain communication with Marketing.
• Collaborate with Packaging, Sourcing and Assembly Ops across the promo cycle.

We are seeking an Operations Senior Developer for LDB to act as the liaison between the local Marketing team and Operations, you will bring promotional programs to life as a project manager of Promotional Development.

A Day In The Life

• Assess promotional viability by way of cost, timeline, and sustainability feasibility studies


• Foster strong relationships and maintain excellent communication with Marketing


• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Packaging, Sourcing and Assembly Operations throughout the promotional cycle


• Conduct risk assessments and create mitigation plans


• Lead project review meetings and maintain organized and effective project trackers


• Present promotional program reviews and escalations to Operational and Leadership teams


• Perform other duties as needed

We Are Looking For

• Education: A completed Bachelor’s degree is required. Packaging Engineering or a related engineering/technical discipline is preferred


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • 3-5+ years of experience in project management.
  
  
  • Experience launching of global products, including working cross-functionally with Operations teams such as Manufacturing, Sourcing, Packaging, as well as Brand Marketing and Sustainability is preferred
  
  
  • Experience in cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field is preferred
  
  
  
  


• Proficient PC skills - MS Office software and capable of building executive presentations. Also Proficient in the use of MS Project.


• Good communication skills, to be able to deal effectively with all levels of our organization and our suppliers.


• Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials and information.


• Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends and technologies.


• Authorization to work in the US is required. No visa sponsorship is offered for this role.


• The ability to be onsite, in the office at least 3 days a week, as this is an essential function of the position, including our NY and NJ sites (required).

• Base Salary Range: $77,400 - $110,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
