Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer for our Corporate Systems/Merchandising IT team in Atlanta.

You will build, enhance, and support critical applications for store associates and the SSC, delivering secure, scalable software with modern Java and microservices. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping to production while upholding security, testing, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; 5+ years of full-cycle software development experience.
• Advanced backend development in Java/Spring Boot with modern Java features.
• Database expertise with PostgreSQL/SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL and performance tuning.
• Microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
• REST APIs, SFTP, and pub-sub messaging.
• AI-assisted development tools to accelerate SDLC without compromising security or quality.
• Agile with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
• Frontend experience with React/Angular/TypeScript.
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP); CI/CD with Jenkins; containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• DevOps/observability tools like Terraform and Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle delivery from requirements to deployment.
• Use AI-assisted development to accelerate from prototype to production with rigor.
• Resolve user-reported issues in ServiceNow within SLA.
• Identify and document upgrade risks and escalate when needed.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and dev standards.

Purpose:Floor & Decor is looking for a Senior Developer to join our Corporate Systems/Merchandising IT team, building, enhancing, and supporting applications for our Store associates and Store Support Center (SSC) users.
