Job summary

NexTech Solutions LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Developer to design, develop, test and maintain production capabilities of the Stronghold platform. You will lead secure, AI-enabled cloud applications and guide a high-performance team across front-end and back-end workstreams.

The role requires an active security clearance (Secret, Top Secret preferred), 10+ years of experience, and strong expertise with TypeScript, Node.js, and search technologies in restricted environments.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience.
5+ years progressive relevant experience in software development, search engineering, or related discipline.
Experience with TypeScript and Node.
Understanding of lexical search, vector search, semantic search, metadata filtering, and hybrid retrieval.
Experience working in secure or restricted environments.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and maintain production capabilities across the Stronghold platform.
Design and implement AI-enabled capabilities including RAG, information extraction, search, report generation and agentic-driven workflows.
Develop modern web application functionality across front-end/back-end and supporting services.
Review code and technical designs from other developers providing actionable feedback focused on security, maintainability and simplicity.
Mentor junior engineers and act as the on-site technical authority.
