Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Designer in Albany to lead layout direction for mobile, web, and in‑store interfaces. You will prototype using Figma, Sketch, and related tools, validate concepts with usability studies, and collaborate across product and engineering teams.

You will drive design systems, user research, and design strategies, delivering high‑fidelity visuals and a compelling product narrative that aligns with company roadmaps and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience guiding layout direction for cross‑platform apps.
• Proficiency with design tools listed and prototyping.
• Ability to plan and run usability testing and concept studies.
• Familiarity with agile design processes and sprints.

Responsibilities

• Guide layout and set direction for iOS, Android, React Native, and net programs.
• Screen and approve prototypes and style publications created with major design tools.
• Plan and conduct product and design discovery and usability testing.
• Analyze user behavior using analytics and feedback tools to inform designs.
• Create high‑fidelity prototypes and communicate design strategy across teams.
