Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the UX/UI for multiple software projects. You will work with product and engineering to craft experiences grounded in user research, usability testing, and strong craft.

You will design in Figma against Blue Steel, building interactive prototypes and contributing to the design system. The role emphasizes rapid design-to-prototype work, collaboration with engineers, and evangelizing user-centered practices while maintaining

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional UX and UI design experience, including senior or lead responsibility on shipped software.
Expert-level Figma skills, including component libraries, variants, auto layout, variables and prototyping.
Proven experience designing for both web and mobile.
Ability to conduct user research and testing, run heuristic evaluations, recognize usability patterns and promote best practices.
Proven ability to take ideas from concept to wireframe to final prototype, incorporating feedback throughout.

Responsibilities

Be the authoritative voice on UX and UI for software projects across web, mobile, desktop, internet and intranet platforms.
Lead usability studies, personas, journey maps, concept testing and coaching teams on running them well.
Analyze research results and present findings to stakeholders, linking design decisions to user and business outcomes.
Mentor designers, run critiques and raise craft standards across the team.
