Job summary

HP is seeking a Senior Designer to lead by doing, blending strategic insight with hands‑on execution across social, etail, retail, and video. You will defend decisions with clarity and grow teammates while partnering with marketing, sales, and product for impactful outcomes.

The role emphasizes design excellence, production realism, and scalable systems. A strong portfolio and 10+ years of diverse design experience are essential for success in this dynamic in‑house setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design experience spanning graphic design, layout, UI/UX, brand identity, motion, or print.
• Strong portfolio showing campaign level thinking and production level execution.
• Fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation tools (Keynote / PowerPoint).
• Experience working in or alongside an in‑house agency or brand team.
• Familiarity with performance marketing context and its impact on conversion/engagement.
• Experience briefing and collaborating with external vendors, photographers, or motion studios.
• Motion fundamentals; basic animation strengthens short‑form video output.
• Comfort with AI-assisted design tools (Firefly, Midjourney, generative workflows) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce exemplary design work across social, etail, retail, sales decks, and short‑form video that raises the quality bar for the whole team
• Partner with internal clients across marketing, sales, and product — translating briefs into design that performs and building lasting working relationships
• Concept and execute with both visuals and words — thinking across design and messaging together, not in isolation
• Defend design decisions with strategic rationale, balancing business goals with creative integrity
• Contribute upstream — shaping briefs, influencing strategy, and catching creative problems before execution begins
• Maintain and evolve brand standards, ensuring visual consistency across all channels and touchpoints
• Build scalable systems — templates, asset libraries, production workflows — that make the team faster and more consistent
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across stakeholders without losing quality or missing deadlines
• Mentors more junior team member and cross‑functional partners
