DAY-TO-DAY EXPECTATIONS:

• Provide technical and design services supporting power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems for various projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to produce electrical design/construction drawings and specifications for institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities.
• Complete design tasks within budget and schedule, communicating effectively with the Project Manager, Senior Electrical Engineer, and the design team to ensure efficient workflow.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 10 years of drafting experience and a vocational certificate or a two-year degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit software is required.
• Strong visual and technical skills, with a process-oriented approach.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying project demands and maintain high precision and accuracy.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and perform field survey duties.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle and criminal records.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Revit software for producing electrical design/construction drawings and specifications for diverse facilities.
