Job summary

Pivot is seeking a Senior Designer to apply its creative expertise to client projects, lead design development, and collaborate with sales, project management and procurement. In this role you will mentor junior design staff, influence project direction, manage budgets and contracts, and present design concepts in client meetings.

Requirements include 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design; certification or active membership is preferred; proficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in architecture or interior design.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited university.
• Certified Interior Designer or working toward certification; active professional membership.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency with CET Designer, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design from programming to production and coordinate deliverables.
• Drive engaging design solutions and tailor client-focused outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales to support proposals and presentations.
• Establish project budgets, scope, and contracts; manage resources.
• Mentor and train design team members.
• Support ongoing learning in design tools and workplace strategy.
• Ensure design processes and documentation standards are followed.
• Communicate design concepts clearly to clients and partners.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
