Job summary

Creative Office Resources, a MillerKnoll dealer, seeks a Senior Designer in Design to plan and specify contract furniture, produce technical drawings, and verify sites for complex projects.

Using CET and AutoCAD, you will develop space plans, coordinate with consultants and sales, select fabrics and finishes, and present solutions to clients for commercial, institutional, healthcare and hospitality environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience drawing and specifying systems furniture in CET or CAP
• 5+ years’ experience in the A&D and commercial interiors industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required
• CET, CAP Designer, CAP Worksheet, and SketchUp experience preferred
• BS or BA degree in Interior Design from a FIDER/CIDA accredited institution preferred
• High level of attention to detail and technical proficiency
• Knowledge of building, accessibility, and life safety codes
• Ability to coordinate, plan, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities and high-volume workload effectively with speed and accuracy
• Self-motivated, innovative, and team-focused
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident leading client presentations
