Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking a Designer for byAnthropologie Jackets to help shape seasonal trend direction and oversee associate designers. You will participate in designing seasonal collections, collaborate with the Design Manager and Buying team, and ensure designs meet the Anthropologie customer.

You will need strong trend forecasting, Illustrator CAD skills, and leadership ability to guide a design team; travel to factories and participate in fittings will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Fashion Design preferred; strong trend forecasting skills.
• Expert-level knowledge of apparel construction and fabrics.
• Proficiency with Illustrator for CAD and presentations.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to seasonal trend direction for all designs and categories.
• Collaborate weekly with Design Manager/Buying to review trends.
• Develop conceptual directions for total product assortment.
• Present development samples and color palettes for review.
• Create and maintain tech packs; communicate construction details.
• Travel to factories for development and execution; manage fittings.
• Develop and train Designers and Assistants; lead the design team.
