Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Squanch Games is seeking a Senior Designer to turn design concepts into high-quality gameplay experiences for a fully remote studio. You’ll own large sections of levels, build with Unreal Engine, and mentor teammates to push creative boundaries.
You’ll collaborate across disciplines to deliver narrative-driven experiences that are funny and impactful, from blockout to ship, while iterating based on playtests and feedback.
Squanch Games was birthed into our mortal world in 2016. Since then we’ve released several laugh-out-loud interactive experiences that have captured the hearts and minds of debaucherous gamers the world over.
If you’ve ended up here, then perhaps you consider yourself a little “Squanchy.” One who is Squanchy has the courage to plunder the depths of madness for joy in its most pure and irreverent essence. Some say it’s a curse. Others, a blessing.
In our humble opinion, to be Squanchy is to truly live. Sounds fun, doesn't it?
Design Department: Senior Designer
As a Senior Designer at Squanch Games, you’ll be in charge of turning design concepts into high-quality gameplay experiences. You love thinking about how to bring great gameplay and character-driven narrative to life. You’ll work on levels at all points of their creation: paper maps, white box layouts, gameplay spaces, playtesting and iteration, and final polish. Building creative new experiences is extremely important to you as well as making games that are impactful and funny.
We are a fully remote studio operating from all over the United States! While we haven't hit all 50, we encourage applicants from across the country to apply and help us complete our map.
