Job summary

Forward Tilt is seeking a Senior Designer to lead complex workplace design programs from concept to punch list. You will run client planning meetings, present space plans and finishes, and translate brand goals into functional, cost-conscious environments.

As a senior team member, you’ll partner with sales, PM, and installation teams, verify site conditions, and ensure specs are ready for order entry. You’ll mentor designers and elevate project quality across the studio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field with 3+ years of commercial furniture dealership design experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in CET Designer and strong knowledge of furniture specification and pricing.
  • Solid understanding of architectural plans, electrical coordination, and building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Own multiple projects from programming and space planning through installation and closeout.
  • Run client planning and design meetings, presenting space plans, finishes, renderings, and recommendations.
  • Translate client visions into creative, cost-conscious workplace solutions.
  • Conduct site verifications, measurements, and evaluations of existing conditions.
  • Develop and review specifications and installation drawings coordinating with A&D documents.
  • Ensure order-ready product specifications before release to order entry.
  • Maintain design timelines and manage deliverables against scope and deadlines.
  • Mentor fellow designers and contribute to team quality standards.
