About the role:

As Senior Designer, you’ll lead creative delivery for the Americas region — from concept through to final production — on a fast‑moving account that produces more than 250 deliverables a month. Working closely with the Account Director and Project Manager, and directly with client stakeholders, you’ll bring rigorous craft, brand consistency, and clear creative thinking to every brief. You’ll guide and mentor junior designers and direct production designers, maintaining quality at pace and at scale.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead concept and ideation across campaign and project briefs spanning corporate branding, social and digital assets, print collateral, editorial, presentations, and video storyboards
  • Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials — paid media, social assets, events, white papers, emails, digital banners, and more — from concept through to final file
  • Develop long‑form editorial content including brochures, white papers (12+ pages), and reports (40+ pages), maintaining high typographic and layout standards throughout
  • Work within brand guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all outputs, adapting creative effectively for a highly regulated industry environment
  • Partner closely with the Account Director and Project Manager to manage creative delivery from brief to final execution, meeting deadlines in a high‑volume environment
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders — presenting work clearly, incorporating feedback constructively, and building trusted working relationships
  • Brief and review work from production and external agencies, maintaining quality to OLIVER and client standards
  • Oversee the preparation and specification of all finished files for correct output across print, digital, and web
  • Manage and delegate responsibilities within the design team, providing clear direction to Junior Designers and Production Designers
  • Mentor Junior Designers, supporting their creative development through regular, constructive feedback and hands‑on guidance
  • Proactively monitor quality, accuracy, and consistency across all team output — keeping standards high at volume and pace
  • Manage project‑level production budgets, including cost estimation, purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciliation; source and negotiate with freelancers and production partners as needed

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating breadth across editorial, corporate branding, digital, and print
  • Expert‑level proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; strong working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • A thorough understanding of typography, photography, colour, and print production
  • Proven ability to design across both print and digital channels, including paid media, social, email, and banners
  • Experience working within a corporate brand environment, with a clear understanding of brand governance and consistency at scale
  • Familiarity with the creative constraints of a regulated industry; financial services experience is an advantage
  • Experience briefing and reviewing output from production or external agencies
  • A confident communicator and presenter, comfortable working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Skilled at guiding, delegating to, and mentoring junior creative talent
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment, with strong attention to detail and a reliable approach to delivery
  • Experience managing project‑level production budgets, including cost estimation, supplier negotiation, and reconciliation
  • Advanced use of Gen AI tools relevant to design to enhance creative output and efficiency
  • Experience building AI‑assisted workflows for yourself and your team
