This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on design leader who can take product from initial concept through final sample while helping shape the creative direction and evolving design DNA of the brand.

Reporting to the VP of Fashion and Product Design, this person will develop approximately 45-60 styles per month across assigned categories. You’ll bring a strong commercial eye, fresh trend perspective, and the ability to balance creativity, speed, quality, and cost in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design trend‑right, commercially viable products across knits, wovens, tops, bottoms, dresses, and outerwear.
  • Own the design process from concept and inspiration through final sample approval.
  • Stay ahead of emerging fashion trends, silhouettes, fabrics, social media, pop culture, and global influences.
  • Source new fabrics, trims, embellishments, and materials for upcoming seasons.
  • Create detailed tech packs that clearly communicate construction, fit, finish, and design intent.
  • Lead proto fittings and partner with cross‑functional teams to maintain design integrity throughout development.
  • Manage seasonal calendars, sample tracking, development deadlines, and potential production risks.
  • Work closely with Development, Production, Creative, Buying, and the China development team.
  • Support and mentor junior designers while helping manage daily workflow and priorities.
  • Help drive the brand’s creative direction while delivering product that performs commercially.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Fashion or Apparel Design.
  • 5-8 years of fashion design experience, ideally within fast fashion, contemporary, or another trend driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, trims, embellishments, and finishing details.
  • Hands‑on experience with tech packs, fittings, seasonal development, and sample management.
  • Previous leadership experience with the ability to guide workflow and mentor junior team members.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.
  • A strong eye for color, proportion, trend, and product assortment.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative, high‑volume, fast‑paced setting.
