Job summary

Encompass Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Pipeline Designer to develop and review alignment sheets, detailed construction drawings, and pipeline maps using survey data and field notes. You will assemble delivery packages and collaborate with project leadership to ensure QA/QC on all deliverables.

Responsibilities include supervising design staff and leveraging BlueSky and AutoCAD to produce accurate drawing packages for natural gas pipeline projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mapping and Pipeline Design.
• Proficient in BlueSky and AutoCAD.
• Understand the process of preparing a drawing package.
• Experience on natural gas pipeline projects is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop/review alignment sheets and detailed construction drawings (Plan & Profile, crossings, exhibits, permits).
• Design pipelines and pipeline maps using survey data and field notes.
• Assemble delivery packages per client or Project Manager.
• Review deliverables for QA/QC with Project Manager or Survey & Mapping Manager.
• Supervise Design staff.

• Will develop and/or review alignment sheets, detailed construction drawings, including Plan & Profile, detailed crossings for land and marine, exhibit and permit drawings.
• Will design pipelines and pipeline maps for our clients utilizing survey data, field notes and other key information.
• Assemble delivery packages as specified by the client or Project Manager
• Review all finished deliverables with the Project Manager and/or Survey & Mapping Manager for Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• Responsible for supervision of Design staff

Requirements

• Must be proficient in the use of BlueSky and AutoCAD
• Understand the process of preparing a drawing package
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Mapping and Pipeline Design.
• Previous experience working on natural gas pipeline projects is a major plus.
