The Office of Experience in Chicago is seeking a Senior Designer to conceive and design beautiful ideas, products and experiences. You will translate briefs into end-user friendly visuals, spanning apps, websites, identity and video, while keeping a strong craft mindset.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, present to clients, and help shape roadmaps and design directions with senior leadership, ensuring cohesive and scalable outcomes across digital channels.

Formación

• 3–7 years of design systems experience in an agency or consulting setting.

Position Description

As a Senior Designer at OX, you will play an essential role in the conception and design of beautiful ideas, products and experiences. Understanding the fundamentals of visual design, you will bring exceptional creative thought and execution, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user. Having a diverse design background with an emphasis in digital, the ideal candidate will have beginning experience spanning everything from apps to websites, identity to print and storyboards to video. You’ll be thoughtful, with a working knowledge of what is achievable on existing and emerging digital formats and platforms. You’ll be required to assist in design execution and production across various accounts with impeccable detail, working as part of a team of talented individuals who all share a passion for craft.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Highly self-driven and able to deliver and inspire award-winning work from both yourself and others who work with you, influencing where appropriate a dramatic change through ideas, creativity and the use of interactive media.
• Strong design foundation, with the ability to consistently produce sophisticated, original work that is near production-ready, working under the guidance of senior creative leadership
• Ability to learn new skills and stay abreast of technical and digital design developments and successfully apply these to work practices to help improve processes and procedures
• Ability to lead workshops, present to senior client leadership, and speak fluently about both business goals and user needs
• Facilitate cohesion across the research, design, content, and development teams
• Craft strategic visions and roadmaps with clients while providing clear direction for your team
• Other duties as assigned by your manager

Required Experience

• 3-7 years of design systems experience in a professional services, agency or consulting environment
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for and understanding of digital trends and technologies, including best practices
• Excellent strategic brainstorming, campaign development and creative execution
• Desire to learn and apply your skills in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment
• Deep understanding of the principles and practices of omnichannel marketing, branding and emergent technologies to drive outcomes for B2B and B2C businesses and brands
• Passion for great design and systems thinking
