Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Designated Authorizing Official (DAO) 3 for a prime contract based in our Columbia, MD office. You will be responsible for RMF-based authorization and assessment, maintaining Authority to Operate compliance for all assigned systems, and coordinating cybersecurity objectives with IT and leadership.

Qualifications include TS/SCI with Poly, a DoD 8570.1 IAM Level III credential, and a minimum of eight years in IT risk assessment or security management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or related field.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional four (4) years of experience for a total of twelve (12) years.
• Working knowledge of system security design, defense-in-depth, risk management, and security testing.
• DoD 8570.1 compliant IAM Level III certification (GSLC/CISM/CISSP or associate).

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying security requirements and implementing security controls.
• Perform and analyze security risk assessments and risk management processes.
• Ensure cybersecurity functions are included in configuration management and development processes.
• Interact with customers, IT staff, and executives to meet cybersecurity objectives.
• Contribute to building security architecture and legacy system integration.
• Prepare security authorization documentation.
