Job summary

Brex, based in New York, is seeking a Design Sourcer to build Brex’s design talent pipeline across Product Design, Brand Design, and Design Leadership. You’ll identify, engage, and nurture world-class designers, crafting thoughtful outreach that reflects Brex’s brand and mission.

You will partner with recruiters and design leadership to understand hiring needs, develop proactive sourcing strategies across channels, and track metrics to improve diversity and outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience sourcing or recruiting for design roles across Product Design, Brand Design, and Design Leadership.
• Strong sourcing experience with AI tools and platforms like LinkedIn.
• Ability to evaluate design portfolios and craft quality, user-centered thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for personalized candidate engagement.
• Data-driven mindset to analyze sourcing performance and improve strategy.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in talent sourcing.
• Ability to manage multiple pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and outreach efforts for design roles using recruiting platforms, creative communities, portfolio sites, and professional social networks.
• Build and maintain diverse, high-quality design talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring needs.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through personalized, thoughtful outreach.
• Support evaluation of design portfolios, focusing on craft quality, systems thinking, and user-centered design approaches.
• Partner closely with recruiters and design leaders to calibrate candidate profiles, craft standards, and pipeline priorities.
• Track sourcing metrics such as response rates, pipeline conversion, and diversity indicators to optimize strategy.
• Maintain accurate and organized candidate data in recruiting systems and dashboards.
• Support employer branding efforts within the design community through social engagement and event participation.
• Contribute to improving sourcing processes, candidate experience, and inclusive hiring practices.
