Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking a Survey Manager to join our Design Survey Team in Bellevue, WA. You will coordinate and manage survey vendors during the design phase, ensuring data collection meets quality standards and schedules.

The role requires SME-level knowledge of surveying methods, LiDAR, and mapping technologies, with responsibilities spanning RFPs, vendor management, and data QC across office and field environments.

Qualifications

• Active PLS license or LSIT certification preferred but not required.
• 10+ years' experience in design and construction surveying.
• 5+ years LiDAR exposure (Terrestrial/Mobile/Aerial).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency with state plane coordinate systems.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP documents to identify survey needs.
• Prepare RFP packets for third-party survey vendors.
• Evaluate responses and make recommendations on skill, cost, and licensing.
• Onsite liaison to vendors and ensure safety procedures.
• Coordinate design survey requests with vendors and ensure timely delivery.
