Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking aSenior Design Reliability & Safety Engineerto join our cooling team of quality(Design for Safety and Reliability) experts. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in reliability engineering, passionate about embedding safety, robustness, and reliability into product design across multiple squads and business units.

Key Responsibilities

As a DfSR Practitioner, you will:

• Leadthe deployment of Design for Reliability and Robustness (DfSR) processes, tools, and software across multiple product squads.
• Championthe integration of safety and reliability principles into design practices, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Assesscritical design elements and develop risk assessment plans focused on safety, robustness, and reliability.
• Coach and guideteams in executing DfSR plans and reporting outcomes to ensure compliance with the highest standards.
• Train and mentordesign engineers and project team in DfSR methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and capability building.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering. Advanced degrees in Reliability Engineering are a plus.
• Minimum5 years of experiencein engineering or quality roles, with a strong focus on Design for Reliability (DfSS, DfSR), power systems, electronics, or electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency inReliaSofttools and experience inAgile product developmentenvironments.
• Strongcustomer orientationand application knowledge.
• Excellentintercultural communicationand collaboration skills.
• Ability tomobilize cross-functional teamsand lead initiatives.
• Preferred certifications:
• DfSS Certifications (CSSGB or CSSBB) (Desirable)
• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) (Highly Desirable)
• Experience withP-diagram-driven DFMEAdevelopment is highly desirable.
• Coaching and project management experience is a strong advantage.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
