Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Senior Design Quality Engineer to lead V&V activities for electro-mechanical products, coordinating across hardware, firmware, and software disciplines. You will drive test strategies, risk management, and design controls to ensure robust products.

Ideal candidates have DFMEA/DfR experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle, from concept through launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM field

• Develop/execute verification plans, test protocols, and design verification activities

• Cross-functional collaboration with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, and Product Management
• Global manufacturing partners, ODMs or OEMs experience

• Strong understanding of design controls, risk management, root cause analysis, and quality engineering principles
• Experience with DFMEA, Design for Reliability (DfR), or statistical quality tools
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, and Product Management
• Experience working with global manufacturing partners, ODMs, or OEMs
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive quality throughout product development.
