Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Project Design Manager in the United States, Colorado area. The role leads design teams on large projects or multi-discipline efforts and oversees from proposal through closeout, ensuring schedules, quality, and client needs are met.

You will guide staff development, monitor workload, manage contracts, and communicate scope changes while supporting safe work practices and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture preferred.
• 10+ years of lead designer and design project management experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired but not required.
• Knowledge of architectural/engineering systems and project modeling.
• Proficiency with drawing production software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Guides career development and monitors workload for team members.
• Ensures compliance with Prime Contract requirements.
• Develops and updates project design schedules and communicates changes.
• Prepares service agreements for consultants to minimize risk.
• Forecasts and reports project financial performance with leadership.
• Builds relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
• Facilitates design reviews to achieve quality objectives.
