Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Design Manager for a major residential development. You will own the design management function from Stage 4 onwards, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and the project team to ensure design integrity.

The role requires strong knowledge of building regulations, MEP coordination, and design risk management, with active liaison to Building Control and warranty providers. You will support construction through to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience with Stage 4+ design management
• Strong knowledge of design and build environments
• Proven ability to coordinate with consultants and subcontractors
• Understanding of building regulations and technical risk
• Ability to coordinate MEP information across disciplines

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design management function from Stage 4 onwards.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Review design information and identify gaps or outstanding requirements.
• Manage design risks and respond to technical queries.
• Support the project team through the construction phase toward completion.
