Cumming Group in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design process across architecture, engineering, and construction phases for major projects.

You will coordinate multiple disciplines, manage schedules and budgets, and serve as primary design-management liaison with architects, engineers, contractors and vendors.

The role requires 7+ years in design management and professional licensure; BIM and Revit knowledge preferred; competitive salary range $93,000 to $124,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in design management, engineering or architecture.
• Experience coordinating multiple architectural and engineering disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction documents.
• Understanding of schedules, RFIs, submittals and change management.
• Ability to communicate with clients and coordinate project teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plans meet program, budget, environmental and legal requirements.
• Manage design from programming through construction documents and closeout.
• Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Provide oversight of MEP coordination and integration.
• Serve as owner's primary design-management contact for designers and vendors.
• Plan and coordinate project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Monitor progress and identify delays or gaps.
• Communicate with stakeholders and prepare project plans and budgets.
