Cumming Group in the United States is seeking a seasoned Design Manager to lead the design process across architecture, engineering and construction disciplines. You will manage planning, budgeting and coordination to deliver projects on time and within scope, and serve as the primary owner-design contact for architects, engineers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in design management, strong MEP knowledge, and experience with BIM tools such as Revit.

Competenze

• 7+ years in design management or related field.
• Experience coordinating multiple architectural and engineering disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience reviewing design drawings, specifications, submittals, and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of design schedules, document-control processes, RFIs, submittals, and change management.
• Deliver quality work product by role modeling organizational core values.
• Hold self-accountable to individual and team goals.

Mansioni

• Manage design process from programming and concept design through construction documents, construction administration, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Coordinate all design disciplines, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, security, and telecommunications.
• Provide oversight of MEP design coordination and integration.
• Serve as the owner's primary design-management representative and point of contact for architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Monitor design progress against the project schedule and identify potential delays, gaps, conflicts, or incomplete deliverables.
• Communicate with and manage project stakeholders.
• Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
• Evaluate documents and communicate the client's goals and expectations to all project team members.
• Develop and communicate action plans that lead the project team from the initial Plan.
• Re-evaluate the contract scope and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Coordinate with cost management group for cost estimates, cost studies, and budget reconciliation.
