A prime contractor and consulting firm in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Design Manager III to oversee the design delivery of a large Terminal 5 renovation at LAX. Responsibilities include managing architectural deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring design quality. Candidates should have 15+ years in large infrastructure projects, preferably in aviation, and possess a relevant degree. Qualifications

• 15+ years managing design for large, complex building or infrastructure projects.
• Aviation or airport project experience strongly preferred.
• Experience on projects valued at $100M+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review architectural and engineering design deliverables.
• Coordinate with designers, developers, and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate design meetings and manage comment resolution.
• Monitor design quality, scope, schedule, and permitting progress.
• Support BIM coordination and ensure compliance with program standards.
• Provide technical guidance across multiple project disciplines.
• Prepare materials for executive briefings and stakeholder meetings.
