Job summary

Pacific Pros in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Design Manager III for Construction Projects to serve as Owner's representative on the Terminal 7/8 Refresh project for LAWA. The role drives design delivery, coordinates architectural, structural, MEP, civil, utilities, and IT disciplines, and ensures adherence to BIM standards and project requirements.

The successful candidate will oversee design reviews, approvals, and comment resolution, support the Project Manager, and maintain program

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing the design of large, complex building projects, utilities, and infrastructure improvements, preferably airport

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the review and approval of technical documents
• Lending expertise to manage comment resolution
• Facilitating meetings and act as technical liaison between Developers/Design-Builders and TDIP SME teams
• Defining and reviewing design requirements and program consistency
• Providing guidance to Project Manager on design requirements in project documents
• Auditing project team comments and designer responses
• Monitoring BIM productions according to LAWA standards and BIM plans
• Ensuring design reviews are completed on time and within budget
• Preparing and reviewing briefings, meeting agendas, and supporting materials for TDIP meetings
