Senior Design Manager - Architectural and Engineering Projects

Position Overview

Arcadis, the world's leading company in sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, is seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our Design Management team within the North America Places group. This remote role can be based anywhere in the USA, with an expectation of 25% domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, consultants, and managers to align objectives and progress.
• Lead strategic pursuits, develop delivery strategies, and manage financial targets.
• Oversee project controls, resource deployment, and optimization.
• Ensure timely service delivery, technical and commercial outcomes, and exceed client expectations.
• Implement design delivery best practices, including risk and change management.
• Develop project plans for various design and engineering services.
• Deliver client presentations, prepare reports, and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience leading large multi-discipline design and construction projects.
• Financial management experience related to projects and clients.
• Proficiency with Autodesk platforms, BIM, or ACC.
• Certified Project Management (CPM) within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Preferred certifications: PE, RA, PMP.
• Sustainable design experience and urban project implementation are a plus.

Salary range: $94,944 - $161,405, based on experience and qualifications.
