Senior Design Manager - Architectural and Engineering Projects (Finance)

Position: Senior Design Engineer - Architectural and Engineering Projects

Location: Remote (anywhere in the USA, with 25% domestic travel)

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural and Engineering Senior Design Manager to join our Design Management team within the North America Places group. This role involves working on diverse projects that create smart, safe, and sustainable environments, including industrial, logistics, data centers, commercial, residential, and social infrastructure developments across North America.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to align project objectives and progress.
2. Lead strategic pursuits, develop delivery strategies, and manage financial targets.
3. Oversee project financials, resource allocation, and project controls.
4. Ensure timely delivery of services, maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction.
5. Implement best practices in design delivery, risk, and change management using digital technologies.
6. Develop project plans and scopes for various design and engineering services.
7. Deliver client presentations, prepare reports, and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

1. 10+ years of experience leading large, multi-disciplinary design and construction projects.
2. Strong financial and client management background.
3. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM).
4. BA in Architecture or Engineering; PMP, PE, or RA certifications preferred.
5. Certified Project Management (CPM) within 30 days of hire.
6. Sustainable design experience and urban environment project experience are a plus.

Salary range: $94,944 - $161,405, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
