Job summary

The Greenridge Group in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager – A/E Services to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division. You will oversee seismic, critical repair, retrofit, and engineering repair projects while guiding design teams through the design review process.

You will lead architects, engineers, and consultants, coordinate with district personnel, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedules while maintaining LAUSD standards.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of full-time experience managing facilities design or planning and coordinating capital projects, including design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling.
• At least 4 years of experience involving design, planning, and construction of educational facilities or similar public-agency projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager – A/E Services to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division. This senior-level role will oversee multiple seismic, critical repair, retrofit, and engineering repair projects while managing design teams and coordinating projects through the design review process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple facilities design and capital improvement projects.
• Lead and supervise architects, engineers, consultants, and other design professionals.
• Coordinate the design process to ensure compliance with project scope, budget, schedule, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• California-registered Architect or Professional Engineer (PE).
