Job summary

Clopay Corporation is seeking a Design Engineering Supervisor for our Mountaintop, Pennsylvania facility. You will lead a team of design engineers, guide technical execution, and ensure projects meet quality, budget and safety standards.

This role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with extensive CAD experience and a strong track record in design for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee external customer support, ECOs, and cost-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Associates degree with 15+ years of experience or Bachelor’s with 10+ years is acceptable.
• Proficiency with 3D parametric modeling and Inventor software required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design engineering team on-site and remotely while ensuring project plans meet quality, budget and safety standards.
• Support external customers in coordination with Sales and Technical Support.
• Prepare engineering drawings and ECOs to maintain standards.
• Perform design reviews and collaborate with manufacturing on DFM.
• Use Inventor to model parts/assemblies and analyze against codes (ASCE, AISC, IBC, ACI).
• Drive cost reductions and product improvements through engineering initiatives.
• Manage projects individually or with other engineers.
