Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead design and development of Intellihot tankless water heaters and related products in Vernon Hills, IL. The role involves hands-on prototyping, materials selection, and cross-functional collaboration to improve quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include designing heat exchangers, evaluating systems, and generating GD&T drawings for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 7+ years of experience with PTC Creo and 3D modeling.
• Experience with heat exchanger design and thermal transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate mechanical/electromechanical products to meet program requirements.
• Develop new heat exchangers and modify existing ones.
• Lead complex projects and coordinate with suppliers and external contractors.
• Build, assemble, test prototypes, and prepare 3D solid geometry models using Creo.
• Create engineering drawings with GD&T for machining and manufacturing.
