Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of Intellihot tankless water heaters, boilers, and related products. You will work cross-functionally, using Creo to create 3D models, assemblies, and parts while driving quality and efficiency improvements.

The role requires hands-on experience with castings, sheet metal, O-rings, and HVAC components, plus the ability to manage prototypes and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years knowledge of PTC Creo.
• 7+ years designing 3D models, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience/knowledge of Heat Exchanger design.
• Experience/knowledge of thermal transfer.
• Hands-on experience building the entire system and components.

Responsabilités

• Design and evaluate mechanical/electromechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes.
• Design and develop heat exchangers and modify existing ones.
• Investigate malfunctions, identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Identify and manage suppliers with diverse concepts and procedures.
• Oversee assembly, test, integration, operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Create water heater/boiler/HVAC components, assemblies in 3D Creo.
• Specify component requirements and ensure conformance with design intent.
• Generate engineering drawings with GD&T for machinability.
• Interface with suppliers and external contractors.
• Develop manufacturing processes (BOM, drawings, routers, QC).
• Build and test prototypes, fixtures, or assembly processes.
