Odin Labs, Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to design and build the user interfaces for our jobsite platform and the shared system behind them.

This hands-on senior role blends product design with frontend engineering, requiring portfolio-driven judgment and production-ready code. You will shape Odin's design language in Figma and in implementation, moving between customer-facing projects and the shared design system to deliver coherent, accessible, and responsive experiences across

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrates product design judgment, UX thinking, and visual craft with production-ready code.
• Proficient with React, TypeScript, and CSS; able to own interface from design through production.
• Experience designing and evolving a design system and reusable components.

Responsabilités

• Turn customer problems into information architecture, interaction models, and interface decisions; validate with prototypes and usability tests.
• Design polished, responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet, mobile, touch, pointer, and keyboard input.
• Establish Odin's design language in Figma and in code with reusable tokens and accessible components.
• Build coded prototypes with realistic mocked data to test navigation and product assumptions before services connect.
• Write production frontend code for complete screens and interaction flows including various states (loading, empty, error, permission).
• Collaborate with Software Engineers on interface contracts and connect frontend to data, services, and business rules.
• Improve existing product experiences as the design system evolves; identify weak abstractions and create durable shared capabilities.
• Own design-heavy projects and design-system initiatives; communicate decisions and risks; ensure coherent interfaces.
