Job summary

You will analyze requirements, create manufacturable designs, and partner with operations, sourcing, quality, and customers to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

The role emphasizes 3D CAD design, GD&T, FMEA/DVP&R familiarity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve on-time, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3D CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards.
• Experience with FMEA, DVP&R, and quality control is a plus.
• Design for Manufacturability and deep manufacturing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Creates designs, specifications, models, bills of materials, and manufacturing drawings with a team of engineers and drafters.
• Coordinates with production to ensure manufacturability, tolerances, and surface finish.
• Ensures safety, dependability, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance of designs.
• Builds prototypes for testing and approval when needed.
• Reviews customer models for completeness and accuracy.
