Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the engineering development of POP retail displays in Chicago. You will drive from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, safety, and durability while coordinating with account, project management, and production teams.

The role requires 5–8 years in POP display engineering, strong SolidWorks expertise, and experience with diverse materials. Occasional travel is expected as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of POP display engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and ability to deliver full engineering release packs.
• Knowledge of plastics, metals, wood fabrication, and LED integration.
• Strong GD&T, dimensional controls, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce complete engineering packs including ISO and 3D/2D drawings and ECOs.
• Create client-facing ISO drawings showing fit, form, function, and visual intent.
• Generate 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T and BOMs.
• Ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, safety, and durability across POP processes.
• Support prototypes, first articles, and vendor reviews; travel <10%.
• Maintain project documentation and QC guidelines; collaborate with teams for DFM.
