Job summary

COMPA Industries, Inc. is recruiting Senior Design Engineers for the Plutonium Facilities Rapid Response Team, supporting LANL at TA-55. Roles include electrical and civil/structural design engineering, with the ability to lead projects and supervise others.

Positions require a Bachelor's in engineering (ABET-accredited) with 9+ years of experience; advanced degrees are preferred. DOE Q clearance and HRP enrollment are mandatory; on-site work at Los Alamos, NM.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
Advanced engineering or technical degree highly desired.
Strong knowledge of industry/DOE/NNSA codes and standards.
Ability to lead projects and supervise others.

Responsibilities

Identify and lead activities in your engineering discipline for facility design, operation, and maintenance.
Apply broad engineering knowledge to prepare complex analyses.
Perform conventional and unique design and analysis within your discipline.
Coordinate inter-disciplinary activities and project support.
Identify system integration activities across disciplines.
Provide construction and project support and integrate activities.
Lead projects and supervise the work of others as assigned.
Utilize engineering technology to improve work processes and meet customer needs.
