Qualifications

• PhD preferred with strong background in power device physics (VDMOS, trench DMOS, SGT).
• Solid knowledge of semiconductor processes such as diffusion, implantation and etching.
• Ability to work in a team environment on multidisciplinary development projects.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and semiconductor characterization.
• Familiarity with power conversion topologies (DC-DC, Flyback, PFC, LLC).
• Proven ability to collaborate with other engineering groups to develop new projects.

Responsibilities

• Power device structure and process simulation with TCAD tools (Tsuprem4, Medici, Sentaurus).
• Device characterization using LCR meters, curve tracers, and FET test setups.
• Layout design for power devices using L-edit or Cadence.
• Collaborate with marketing, packaging, product engineering, and integration groups to launch new platforms.

We are looking for a passionate Senior Design Engineer to be responsible for MOSFET/IGBT design and contribute to our collaborative and innovative teams. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing, packaging, product engineering, and integration groups to design, develop, and launch new products and next generation platforms.

Primary job functions include:

• Power device structure and process simulation with TCAD tools including Tsuprem4, Medici, and Sentaurus
• Device characterization with LCR meter, curve tracer, FET test, etc.
• Layout design for power devices with L-edit or Cadence.
• Work closely with the marketing, packaging, product engineering, and integration groups to design, develop, and launch new products and next generation platforms.
