Job summary

Stryker is seeking an onsite Senior Design Engineer in Wisconsin with a strong foundation in mechanical design and product development. You will independently drive design activities while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with customer needs.

Responsibilities include designing components, translating inputs to specifications, prototyping solutions, and collaborating across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to deliver robust medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or BioMedical field with 2+ years of work experience.
• Strong mechanical design knowledge and design principles.
• Experience creating engineering drawings/models using GD&T and CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, modify, and verify medical device components with minimal supervision.
• Translate design inputs into engineering specifications and subsystem designs.
• Develop, prototype, and analyze solutions to establish proof of concept and resolve complex challenges.
• Apply engineering concepts to problem solving with attention to quality and compliance.
• Demonstrate understanding of customer needs, product use, and clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
• Maintain and refine Design History File content and engineering documentation.
