Job summary

Mantis Innovation seeks a Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical/HVAC) to design and implement utility and infrastructure improvements across client facilities. You will lead technical assessments, feasibility analyses, and project scoping to support informed investment decisions.

There is a strong emphasis on delivering accurate project recommendations, practical solutions, and well-supported engineering for concept through implementation, with a collaborative, hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5–10 years of experience in utility system modernization, energy efficiency, or related infrastructure projects.
• Technical experience with utility, HVAC, mechanical, or related infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and collect data to establish project baselines.
• Analyze facility infrastructure to identify energy and operational improvements.
• Perform feasibility studies and technical evaluations for modernization projects.
• Develop project scopes, assumptions, savings calculations, and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical recommendations and supporting documentation for proposals.
• Lead design engineering activities for approved projects to ensure quality.
