Job summary

ELWEMA is seeking a Mechatronics Technician / Industrial Mechanic / Assembler (m/f/d) to join our USA location. You will assemble components per drawings, install electrical systems, and operate handling robots from ABB, Fanuc, and KUKA.

You will also assemble and commission machines at our USA site and at customer locations, and support acceptance tests and production runs. English skills are essential; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical training completed (industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, or equivalent).
• Initial experience in assembling special-purpose machinery is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.
• Strong teamwork and customer focus.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Assembly of components according to assembly drawings for our cleaning, testing, and assembly machines
• Installation and wiring of electrical systems
• Operation of integrated handling robots (e.g. ABB, Fanuc, KUKA)
• Assembly and commissioning of machines as well as modification of existing machines at our site in the USA and at customer locations
• Support during machine acceptance tests and production runs

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed technical training, e.g. as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, or comparable qualification (m/f/d)
• Initial professional experience in the assembly of special-purpose machinery is an advantage
• High level of independence and accuracy in daily work
• Strong team orientation and customer focus
• Flexibility and willingness to travel and work in an international environment
• Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage
• Forklift and crane license is an advantage
