Top Echelon LLC in Waterloo, Iowa is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to collaborate with a team of designers on mechanical products and systems to meet customer needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in Excel and design software. You will plan projects, test feasibility, improve processes, and ensure quality while supporting lean initiatives.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years experience as a senior engineer.
• Heavy haul trailer engineering experience a plus.
• Heavy equipment engineering experience a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and design software systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical and technical skills to understand business practices.

• Plan and complete engineering projects by studying customer requirements, market demand, and competitors' products; scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
