Job summary

You will guide design improvements, lead multi-project efforts, and coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure contract requirements are met. The role requires 7+ years in design engineering, advanced knowledge of UPSD products and related systems, and proficiency in CAD, MS Office, and engineering analysis software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years in design engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of UPSD products, switchgear, transformers, and battery systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand and create technical drawings and materials.
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Office, CAD, and engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and cost-reduction initiatives for CPSD products.
• Prepare Bills of Materials, drawings, specs, and support documents for orders.
• Provide design leadership and act as project lead for design, test, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with customers and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Support manufacturing, quality assurance, and listing processes (e.g., UL).
• Travel to customer sites or trade shows to provide product support and training.
