A leading engineering firm in Georgia is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to conduct mechanical design calculations and develop standards for heat exchangers. Responsibilities include creating design details, collaborating with teams, and reviewing fabrication drawings. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting qualifications and experience.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering of ASME Section III and/or VIII Pressure Vessels and/or Heat Exchangers required.
• Direct related work experience in designing pressure vessels and heat exchangers as per ASME standards required.
• Active Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Qualification requirements of a Certifying Engineer as per ASME Section III preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct mechanical and structural calculations including FEA and prepare design details.
• Create performance curves and operating manuals per HEI, ASME, TEMA and PED standards.
• Support technical comments and follow up with customers during proposals.
• Facilitate quality assurance discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
