Position Overview & Location

Nightingale Lighting, launched in 2024, offers innovative lighting products for healthcare spaces, emphasizing wellness and patient-centric design. We seek an experienced mechanical engineer to lead product development from concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Develop products from concept through production, including sustaining engineering and resolving field issues.
2. Lead mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing release using the stage-gate system.
3. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Proven success in lighting, appliances, consumer products, or related electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and Microsoft Office; SolidWorks preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 7 lbs and work from Decatur, GA, with domestic and international travel.
