Product Design Engineering Manager – ATVs

We’re looking for a Product Design Engineering Manager to lead the engineering design team responsible for Yamaha’s ATV product line. This high-impact role oversees the full development cycle of new ATV models, from concept and design through validation and launch. You’ll drive innovation, ensure quality, and lead a talented team of engineers focused on delivering performance, reliability, and value to our customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional design engineering team
• Manage ATV product development timelines, budgets, and design reviews
• Drive innovation and ensure alignment with Yamaha’s global engineering standards
• Collaborate with R&D teams in Japan and U.S. manufacturing, quality, and purchasing teams
• Ensure manufacturability, durability, and regulatory compliance for all designs

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 7–10+ years of product design experience (powersports/off-road/automotive preferred)
• Proven leadership and project management experience
• Proficiency in CAD (Siemens NX preferred) and strong understanding of DFM principles
• Passion for off-road vehicles, mechanical systems, and innovation
