• Two years of civil engineering experience and training equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college with major course work in civil engineering or a related field.
• Possession of Engineer-in-Training Certificate in the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering designs for preliminary and final plans, specifications and cost estimates for construction and/or improvement projects.
• Coordinate project bidding and contract awards; review subdivision maps for conformance to local ordinances and state laws.
• Attend meetings and present information to committees and public groups; prepare reports and correspondence as required.
• Provide engineering support for construction projects and manage project budgets; supervise consultant work as needed.
