Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Design Engineer in Lynchburg, VA to take ownership of mechanical design on customer projects across the full lifecycle. You will collaborate with the engineering manager and cross-functional teams to deliver robust capital equipment solutions.

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to take on more responsibilities in a role where you will take ownership of both new and existing design of customer projects for the whole life cycle?
Do you want to work for a leading manufacturing organization that can offer further career progression and who will invest in your training?
This manufacturing organization are an established industry leader in production equipment. With further growth plans across the business and a strong client base, they are looking to strengthen their engineering department and add a Senior Design Engineer to the team.
You will work with the Engineering manager in supporting the team, and be involved in a number of customer projects from start to finish where you will be responsible for the design of new and exisiting mechanical equipment. You will be supporting the electrical and manufacturing teams to collaborate on a number of projects.
You will be a Mechanical Design Engineer who comes from a manufacturing background and ideally has worked on capital equipment projects.
This role is an amazing opportunity for a Design Engineer looking to expand their leadership, while working to support the engineering manager, and join a company that offers progression and training.
